Loved this podcast
I’m not much of a podcast listener, as I often find there is a lot of waffle and they don’t hold my attention. But I thought I’d give this one a go because I work in television and I wanted to hear about other peoples experiences. I was not disappointed! All the guests are incredibly interesting and engaging, and Kimberly does a fantastic job of drawing out amazing stories, with lots of banter and laughs along the way. I highly recommend you give it a listen, and I hope there are more episode soon!

A great listen for all!
Working in the media and advertising industry (albeit not TV/production directly) I thought I’d give this podcast a go and was not disappointed! It’s suitable for anyone really who is looking to listen to inspiring and thought provoking stories. I throughly recommend 😊

Excellent Podcasts
The Imposter Club is brilliant. For starters, the range of different voices from within the broadcast industry is fantastic. But more importantly, with 75% of film and tv freelancers currently out of work, and not having worked for most of this year, this podcast is an invaluable resource. It reminds us that we are good at what we do. It's a real tonic for one's mental health!

Honesty & solidarity in a safe space
Wonderful, insightful podcast. The interviewees provide a really honest commentary on the workings of TV production and the result is a feeling of solidarity in a safe space. Lots of great advice from industry insiders, some fascinating, candid stories and the odd infectious giggle.

You Are Not Alone!
Not only are these podcasts brilliant for bringing unity to a sometimes fractured industry, they are also bloody entertaining and, surprisingly, moving. I really do recommend them to people; there are far more similarities at all levels than one might think and Kimberly is fantastic at drawing out those career highs and lows to really illustrate that.

A must listen for anyone working in the industry.
As an industry person I’ve really enjoyed and appreciated The Imposter Club podcast. It’s been a particularly welcome listen during the last 12 months when things have been so challenging. It has helped me stay motivated and connected to the industry in a tangible and meaningful way. To hear all the different perspectives and experiences has been eye opening. And to know that you’re not alone when it comes to feeling like an imposter in our industry has brought me so much comfort and insight.

*****!
It’s such a great podcast - especially through tough times! I listen religiously, and I would highly recommend giving it a listen.

So helpful
I am so enjoying this podcast - at this difficult time in the industry it is inspiring to hear the stories of others in a truthful, non-trumpet blowing way! Thank you to the team and the brave contributors 😊

Great for everyone, both in and out of TV
This series is a must-listen for anyone in the industry who’s ever had doubts about their abilities or looked around and thought “should I even be here?” But actually… it’s so much more than that. Anyone in any industry can relate to the stories of self-doubt, overcoming discrimination, and learning to stand up for yourself. And I defy you not to whoop in solidarity when you hear the indomitable Dorothy Byrne talking about how “there are plenty of men who SHOULD have imposter syndrome and don’t - and plenty of them are in charge of running the country!”. If you’re in the TV industry, the relatable journeys and difficulties of so many people you know and admire in the industry, as well as people you might not have known but now do, are an inspiring reminder to keep following your own path and believe in your own journey. And if you’re not in the TV industry, enjoy this inside peek and an honest, visceral account of what it really takes to make programmes, work in the industry and get to know the real people behind the shows and the channels you watch.

LOVE IT!
Such a brilliant show with a unique insight into the world of TV. Kimberly is a fantastic host - she was born to podcast!

Honest, reassuring solidarity!
Open, honest chats that are so relatable & reassuring.

Relatable
Really related to the episode with Yas. Both well spoken but also personable so I felt like I knew them and their situation. Would recommend to other colleagues!

A TV must listen
I have really enjoyed this series - Kimberley has a great interview style putting her guests at ease and getting a great insight into areas you would never normally hear them discussing. A must for anyone working in this industry.

Inspiring
I love this show.

Fascinating insights
This podcast is brilliant and so far series 2 is even better than series 1. Kimberly is a very skilled interviewer, making her guests feel at home and draws out some great insights and anecdotes. A must listen to anyone in the broadcasting/ TV industry. Best ep so far for me is with Dorothy Byrne.

And I thought I was the only one
Loved this pod. The guests were incredibly open and honest about their TV journey, and so much of it resonated with my own experiences. Picked me up in some low moments. If you’re ever feeling bad about the industry and your place in it, I can’t recommend this series highly enough.

Great TV industry podcast
This is a brilliant podcast - hugely insightful, not to mention reassuring, for those that experience creative doubts in the industry. A must listen for any level of experience, proving that even the most successful names out there have the same thoughts as everyone else! Thanks to the TP team for putting this out to the world.

A Wonderfully Uniting Voice
I've loved this series - the sense of 'one voice' in an industry where so often people are pitted against one another is refreshing, encouraging and unifying. I've said to others, I vehemently nodded to so much I nearly gave myself whiplash! Insightful and interesting, it's also really funny!

Insightful and reassuring
Really insightful interviews that are as thought provoking as they are comforting that we're all in the same boat together.

Imposters unite!
Just finished listening to several episodes. Thanks for putting this together, it's always refreshing to hear others talk about their vulnerabilities and inspiring that others will take from all of our stories.

Love it
So good to hear from some of the big beasts in the industry about the vulnerabilities they all have - really interesting, funny, personal, and reassuring. Loved listening to it.

a very reassuring listen
A great line up of guests & Kimberly has such a lovely interviewing style. This is a must listen for anyone working in telly - or any industry!

Fascinating and reassuring insight into some great TV minds
As much as us media types are known for being over emotional luvvies that doesn’t usually translate into being open about our weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Kimberly does a great job in getting some of the industry leaders at the top of their game to open up about their struggles rising to the top and how their mental health suffered along the way. Above all it’s reassuring and comforting to know we’re all human and need to be a bit more forgiving of ourselves and others!

Great podcast
As someone in the industry, it’s refreshing (& brilliant) to hear such open and heartfelt thoughts on feeling like an imposter. A must listen!

Essential listening for anyone working in TV
Love this podcast. We’re all imposters at one level or another. Great to hear people in the industry opening up about their struggles.

You've got this
Congratulations and thanks to Kimberly Godbolt and Rosie Turner for The Imposter Club. Not only have you created a timely, accessible podcast, which offers insights and encouragement, you have drawn together a community. Thank you for the hard work, skill and generosity that went into pulling this off. Many thanks too to all your wonderful guests for their bravery and honesty. Each and every one of you is an inspiration. By candidly sharing your own personal journeys and feelings, you demonstrate what it is to be human. And to all my fellow imposters, you've got this!

Top Drawer
A brilliant podcast lifting a very welcome lid on our otherwise opaque industry. Great stuff.

Great for anyone at any level to hear
I’m just starting out in my career and really struggle with self-doubt in an already tricky industry. It means the world to me to hear of successful people, not just experiencing similar things, but also finding ways to turn the volume down and make their own path. Keep at it!

MK
Great guests and love their honesty - it's so refreshing and reassuring as we are all imposters in some way! Looking forward to series 2.
